If, you want to use blackberry services on a non-blackberry handset then you will get push mail services from both the providers but… while Airtel provides you GRPS services (for unlimited internet browsing, worth Rs. 599) free of cost, Vodafone will charge you for its “Mobile Connect” services Rs. 599 per month for unlimited web browsing.

I generally get a  few minutes delay in deliver of my mails in case of Vodafone which is not the case with Airtel or Tata or Reliance.

You will be charged at Rs. 0.35 per KB while you are on roaming where vodafone is not present (in most of the small cities or in routes you won’t find vodafone).

Same rates are charged by Airtel also but there are very few cities where you will not found Airtel so, if you are a user who roams alot then Airtel will be much better bet for you.

In pricing front also while Airtel charges just Rs. 899/- per month for unlimited data plan and Rs. 6990/- per year for the same, Vodafone will charge you Rs. 1099/- for the same.

Unlocking of Handsets

Airtel will take 8 to 10 days to deliver your unlock code for the blackberry handset in case you want the same while there is no such facility available with vodafone.
