  • After a song is added to My Songs, a short clip plays instead of full songs
  • Frequently unable to preview song over GPRS or EDGE
  • Takes too long to save playlist info

The update is available now for most users, if you’re not seeing it as of yet, then it’ll be updated shortly so just sit tight and make sure when using it, you file feeback on any issues that arise — given that it is a beta, RIM will need to be aware of the issues before they can ever be correct.

Indian government could block blackberry services

If, RIM will not provide snooping access to government security agencies than Indian govt could block these services in India. DoT has given 15 days time to them to ensure that all the data passed through local mobile carriers can be readable by the security agencies. What will this mean to us? In simple terms your business secrets will not be as safe as you think if, you are a corporate BES customer. If, you are a BIS customer having Blackberry services through your mobile service provider than you don’t need to worry a bit as your data is already unsecured and trackable through govt agencies.
